Elaf Ajyad Hotel Makkah
I recently stayed at the Elaf Ajyad Hotel during my visit to Makkah, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is within walking distance to the Haram, which is incredibly convenient for those performing Umrah or Hajj. Although the walk includes a slight incline, the hotel provides a shuttle service that makes the journey easier, especially for the elderly or those with mobility challenges. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the amenities provided were satisfactory for a short stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that any concerns or needs were addressed promptly. While the decor is slightly dated, the overall comfort and cleanliness made up for it. One of the highlights was the affordable pricing, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers who still want to stay close to the Haram. On the downside, the location on a hill might be challenging for some, and the shuttle service could be more frequent during peak times. Additionally, breakfast options were limited but acceptable for the price. In conclusion, the Elaf Ajyad Hotel is a solid choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay near the Haram with decent facilities. It’s not luxurious but serves its purpose well for pilgrims.

The location was very good, you have 2 options: 1- Either you can walk a 2 minuets ramp to reach some stairs and the stairs takes you directly to Haram. ( Stairs are not that hard to climb up or down if you are in good health, for once a day. But more than twice a day it is harder, and definitely for elders or if you are carrying bags it is not an easy option) 2- Second option is through Golf car the hotel provides, which is very convenient for elders, it takes you up/down a steep ramp then you have to walk 5-7 mins to reach Haram gate. ( golf car stop is in-front of Makarem Ajyad hotel, which is a very short and strait road walking distance). Despite it was only 1 golf cart available, it never felt long for waiting as you already can see from a distance the car, and it is a very short distance for the car to drive up/down the steep ramp.

Salma

Very close to masjid al Haram. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff is very cooperative. Housekeeping and other facilities like tea refills and water were offered everyday at your doorstep, which was a step up compared to other hotels.

Abdullah

A clean and sanitized environment is essential for a comfortable stay. A well-appointed room with comfortable bedding and amenities is a must. A hotel that offers competitive rates and quality services is always appreciated.

Zahid

The hotel rooms were decent. The hotel had good service, very helpful staff. Sohel in tower B was particularly very helpful. What ever negatives we had regarding the hotel, his exceptional service made us overlook them.
